Right now, across this country, institutions are working overtime to sanitize history, erase race, criminalize honest education, and disappear the stories of oppression and resistance that shaped the world we live in today.
But we refuse to let them rewrite the past to control the future. Every banned book tells us exactly what systems fear.
Every erased story reveals whose power is being protected.
And every child deserves access to histories that tell the truth and not propaganda disguised as education.
This is bigger than books.
